Feeling discouraged about my dev skills after an impromptu meeting
6 years at current company. Great performance reviews. Three promos. Was often told, "you're highly respected by everyone in the company", "nicest guy in the company", etc. Was a key player in keeping the company moving forward and successful during three pivotal times that were challenging, if not existential, for the Company. Now, the Company is growing. Momentum is building more and more. Great, right? I think so, however I haven't taken any days off since 2021. Worth it, though. A sacrifice
