Watched my own product crash in front of a potential investor and just sat there in silence
what felt like ten minutes but was probably ten seconds. Wasn't even a big pitch meeting. Coffee, casual, he just asked to see it live instead of the deck. I said sure, feeling confident because it had been stable for weeks. Opened it. Typed a command I'd tested probably two hundred times. It froze. Just sat there spinning. He didn't say anything mean. Just kind of nodded slowly and said "happens to everyone" in that tone that's somehow worse than actual criticism. I didn't fix it in that moment
